We went back to visit my old friends and co-workers at the museum. It was so fun to see everyone again.

Bangs or no bangs...that is the question.

Hi. This is me now. About every 6 months I go through a blah, can't stand my hair phase. I've been thinking instead of chopping my hair short like I always do I might do bangs instead. One night I was playing around with my hair and pinned it up to make it look like I have bangs. I want to know what people think. I'm a little nervous about this one. Of course if I did get bangs they would look better than this and not have all the split ends showing.

Happy Birthday Aaron!

It's the big 'ol 26. Aaron's not the biggest fan of cake so I always make him some kind of fun dessert. This is a heavenly pudding one. It was a winner.

Winter Quarters Temple

We finally took a temple trip. It's been a while. We went with another couple and did a baby swap. What a wonderful/peaceful place to be.


On our drive up we kept passing beautiful sunflower fields! (It is Kansas' state flower).

Go BYU!

This was the first BYU game of the season. We're all supporting our BYU shirts. We watched the game at our friend's house, who wasn't even there. There were like 12 of us there and the owners were out of town! Thanks Christensens!

Bentley loves food and he always moches off us when we're eating. Here he is with Aaron's string cheese.

Softball

Aaron and I were on a Coed softball team all summer. It was a lot of commitment and TONS of fun. Bentley was our cheerleader in the dugout with his friend Skyler (Skyler is here in the picture, but Bentley was at home in bed with his Aunt and Uncle watching him).

Sailing

We had a fun day on Saturday. We have an awesome lake by us and they had a free sailing day. It was so fun and Bentley just seemed mesmorized by it all.

Skaters are Funny

I think this is Bentley's biggest belly laugh ever! We went on a walk and came up to some teenagers skate boarding. There must be something hillarious about kickflips.

Too hot for hats

I hardly have any pictures of just Bentley and I so here ya go. I put a hat on him that I made for a humanitarian project our Relief Society is doing. I was so proud of myself cause I've never been much of a knitter type. He's not really much of a hat fan yet (but it is still August).

Pee Pee Pants!

Aaron and I gave Bentley a bath. When we were dressing him, I handed him to Aaron so I could get up to get a diaper. Aaron was sitting on the ground with Bentley on his lap. I said, "I sure hope he doesn't go pee". Right then Aaron yelled, "He's PEEING on me!". It was one of those times where I couldn't stop laughing, but you maybe had to be there. Even funnier is that Bentley peed on just the right spot on Aaron.

While Aaron's mom was in town we went to Gage Park and rode on the train.

First Fat Lip

The poor little guy. He bumped his lip on the edge of the table today. It's his first accident. I'm sure that lip will only get bigger!

BTW...Bentley has been all healed for about a week now. Thanks for the prayers.

Boils Update

Well, the boils are still around, but we did go to the doctor again. It's a rare thing called Gianotti Crosti (we think). It's not contagious and there's nothing you can really do about it. Luckily it doesn't seem to be bothering him. It can stick around from 4-6 weeks. The rash is an aftermath of something viral, like a cold. Thanks for all your concerns and ideas!

Bentley's Boils

I'm already apologizing for the discusting pictures. Ok, so Bentley had this terrible rash come on all of a sudden. He's had it for about a week now. It looks terrible! It looks like big, red warts all over his legs. It's only on his lower legs and a few on his forearms. The bumps are not oozing. It doesn't seem to be bothering him luckily. They're not itching him either. We took him to the doctor and they didn't know what it was. We're going again to his pediatrition on Tuesday and calling a dermatologist tomorrow. Does anyone know what this is or had it with any of their kids?! I'm getting nervous about it. Please keep Bentley in your prayers too. I don't think it's food allergies cause it's not on his main body. And the only real new food we've given him is watermelon. I don't use chemicals on the floor nor have any in his access. He hasn't been in the grass at all because of chiggars and the gross, tough grass that is in Kansas. I don't think it has to do with detergent because it's not anywhere where his clothes are. The doctor said it's not chicken pox, chiggars, heat rash. We've bathed him with anti-bacterial soap, put hydrogen peroxide on it, hydrocordizone (sp?) cream on it, and given him Benadryl. I might give him an oatmeal bath tonight. I heard it works. We're getting desperate. It's a mystery.
